Global Alliance for Development Foundation (GADeF) in
partnership with LitWorld organized a World Read Aloud Day (WRAD) at Fountain Gate
International School on 4th March with 25 club members of LitWorld.
Among the 25 members, we had 10 of them contesting with three lucky winners for
the read aloud competition.
The competition was taken in two rounds, with each round five
students contesting. The contestants were given a news paper from which each
student is allowed to choose the story of choice and given two minutes to read.
Contestants for 1st round
We had three judges for the competition, the first judge was
looking at the fluency of the contestants, the second judge was looking at the
words pronunciation and the third judge looked at how fast they can read, all
these were being checked while they read their news items.
